Antiquarian Eric Knowles known to most for his appearances on The Antiques Roadshow and in the BBC Homes and Antiques Magazine is no stranger to our Centre. In the past we have been fortunate to have Eric share his vast knowledge of Antiques with us by holding a highly successful valuation day with a light hearted evening talk on The Good, The Bad and The Downright Ugly.

Talbot House Antique Centre has quickly made its presence known in Dorking since July 2008 with our Centre being opened by the Popular Actor - Anthony Valentine whom is currently appearing as George Wilson in Coronation Street. Having expanded and relocated into this elegant but substantial Georgian Grade II listed Building situated midway along Dorking's famous West Street, an internationally renowned focus for Antiques in the UK, from Ripley in Surrey where we first opened in July 1999 as Talbot Walk Antique Centre.

Here at Talbot House we shall be carrying on the tradition of the Talbot Walk Sales which were held twice a year. Did you know that The Talbot Walk Antique Centre was the first Antique Centre in the UK to hold sales with the first sale being held way back in January 2000.
